The New Orleans Pelicans have the potential to be one of the best teams in the NBA, with a core of Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and CJ McCollum.

But the team’s true potential hasn’t been reached because of the constant injuries to Zion Williamson.

Last season, Williamson played just 29 games, averaging 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game.

While his numbers were great, he didn’t play enough.

Williamson aims to change that as he was recently featured on the New Orleans Pelicans’ NBA Training Camp roster, as the list was revealed via the team’s official Twitter handle.

It’s certainly good news that Zion is healthy now.

While it doesn’t guarantee that Zion will remain healthy until the new season begins, it’s definitely a start.

Williamson has a lot of untapped potential, but injuries and controversies have held it back.

The good thing is the fact that Zion is still just 23 years old and has plenty of time to become one of the biggest superstars in the NBA.

Many are expecting an All-Star-level season from the former first-overall pick.

But more importantly, Williamson is tasked with the expectations of leading the Pelicanson a deep playoff run in the upcoming season.

Will Williamson finally fulfill his potential, or will he go down as one of the biggest busts in recent history?

The next season will play a crucial role in the potential legacy of Zion Williamson as an NBA player, and whether or not he can one day become the face of the league.
