The New England Patriots‘ most recent game ended in a blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

This was the largest margin of defeat in Bill Belichick’s storied career, causing many to question his methods.

After this game, Tom Brady discussed his feelings as a fan sitting on the couch now that he’s retired.

According to Brady via the “Let’s Go” podcast, “It’s a hard thing because you just want to rip your hair out.”

Now that Brady is retired, he can no longer impact the on-field product of the Patriots or any other team.

While he doesn’t necessarily indicate that he would like to return to play, Brady noted his frustration when watching certain games.

It can’t be easy for Brady to watch the team he won six Super Bowls for losing in blowout fashion.

Brady is slated to join FOX Sports as an analyst during the 2024 NFL Season.

For now, fans are treated to his analysis on a limited basis, joining podcasts and being a guest on other programs.

In this particular podcast, Brady later discussed the difference in mindsets when a team loses, versus when they win.

“If you’re part of a loss, you don’t care about anyone else’s losses,” Brady said.

When teams lose, Brady believes they are quick to point out their mistakes after the game, hoping to improve upon them in the next week.

However, when teams win, Brady said, “You look around and go, alright, who else lost?”

The Patriots have already lost three games this season.

Will this trend continue, or will Belichick be able to get his team back on the right track?
