The Boston Celtics have one of the best starting lineups and cores in the entire NBA.
And just when it seemed like the Milwaukee Bucks had one-upped them by acquiring Damian Lillard — who was also one of their targets — they hit right back at them by trading for Jrue Holiday.
So, now that both teams are pretty much toe-to-toe again, Celtics insider Mike Felger believes the Celtics have the edge over the Bucks because they have the best player in that matchup, which is Jayson Tatum (via Celtics on NBC Sports).

Felger told Michael Holley that he believes Tatum has the potential to be the best player in the NBA.
And while that’s a distinction that Giannis Antetokounmpo has already had at times, Felger claims he gets rid of the ball when it’s crunch time because he doesn’t want to go to the line, adding that he’s just not made for that moment.
That could be true, but that’s also one of the reasons why they traded for Lillard.
Lillard has been one of the bona fide and proven clutch performers since he entered the league, and he’s going to have the ball in his hands very often in those situations for Milwaukee.
Dame has made a living out of sending teams back home with buzzer-beaters and single-handedly carrying the load when it matters the most, and he’s never had a supporting cast as good as the one he has right now.
Whatever the case, these matchups will be must-watch television.
