The Philadelphia Phillies did exactly what they were expected to do in Game 1 of the Wild Card series.

Home games in the playoffs are games you have to win.

The Phillies came out and played great to take the 1-0 series lead over the Miami Marlins.

One reason for their success was the atmosphere at Citizens Bank Park.

There is not a better place for playoff baseball games than CBP.

Most of the seats were not needed on Tuesday night as fans spent the whole game standing.

To relive a great night the Phillies made a hype video after the huge Game 1 win.

Starting pitcher Zack Wheeler set the tone for the Phillies.

He was dominant last night as he fed off the home crowd.

Wheeler threw 6.2 innings allowing five hits and one run.

He struck out eight hitters and did not walk a batter.

The Phillies ace was on his A-game last night and they needed it.

Game 2 on Wednesday night should be every bit as loud.

The Phillies have a chance to clinch the series with Aaron Nola on the mound.

Nola is coming off an inconsistent regular season.

His season ERA is 4.46 and his career playoff ERA is 4.91.

But, pitching well in this postseason is all that matters.

The Phillies need Nola to come through on Wednesday night and deliver a strong outing.

If he can do that, there is no question the Phillies will be in great shape to complete the sweep.
