The Kansas City Chiefs were used to all the attention and media frenzy.
They’ve won two Super Bowls in the past four years, so it’s only natural to see them drawing a lot of interest.
But that has gone way overboard since it became public knowledge that Taylor Swift and star TE Travis Kelce are dating.
And while the league must be loving all the extra coverage, an uptick in ratings, and whatnot, Kelce recently revealed that he’s not that comfortable with it anymore (via B/R Gridiron).

In the latest edition of his “New Heights” podcast with his older brother, Jason, Travis admitted that he thinks the league is kind of overdoing things with Swift right now.
They’re cutting to her almost after every big Chiefs play, not to mention the countless times she’s brought in and mentioned in the broadcast, plus the millions of memes and pictures on social media.
On top of that, the camera literally shifts to her after every Chiefs touchdown, just as if she were the offensive coordinator who drew up the play.
We get it, Taylor Swift is arguably the most famous woman on Earth right now; she’s at the top of her game, and is a worldwide sensation for people of all ages and walks of life.
But football fans just want to watch football, not pop stars.
Still, the league will likely try to milk this story and her presence as much as they can until people eventually move on and shift their attention somewhere else.
