The New York Giants currently hold a 1-3 record, and all of their losses have come via blowouts.

When teams struggle like this, it can often cause frustration within their locker room, and players can tend to lash out.

Evan Neal, a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, recently called out some Giants fans in what has been seen as a degrading statement.

He has since tried to rectify this statement, posting an apology on Twitter.

In this statement, one of the things Neal noted was, “I had no right to make light of anyone’s job and I deeply regret the things I said.”

Neal’s first comments took a dig at Giants fans, indicating that a lot of them work in the fast food industry.

With any luck, he is hoping that his apology is the start of making up for his mistake and that he can move forward gracefully.

As he mentioned at the end of this note, “We are working day in and day out to grow as a team and this was an unnecessary distraction.”

At 1-3, the Giants now have an outside chance to make the playoffs, but will still fight for an opportunity to get to the postseason.

Their next three games are against the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and one of their division rivals, Washington Commanders.

While each of these teams has proven to be a difficult matchup if the Giants can pull out wins, they might be able to get their season back on track.
