Ben Simmons was once viewed as one of the most talented young point guards in the NBA.
But over the last two years or so, Simmons has been knocked off the pedestal by the NBA community.
Simmons had a falling out with the Philadelphia 76ers that led to his trade to the Brooklyn Nets.
The 3x NBA All-Star didn’t have a great first season with the Nets as his season was shortened due to injury.
But Simmons is focused on making a huge comeback in the 2023-24 NBA season, and a recent video via NBACentral on Twitter shows him dunking the basketball.

It’s usually not a huge deal for an NBA player to dunk the basketball, but considering Simmons’ injury history, many are celebrating it.
Simmons also struggled with mental health issues last season, so it’s always great to see a player regain his confidence.
Due to multiple issues, Simmons had the worst season of his career.
He averaged just 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game for the Nets.
For the upcoming season, the Nets no longer have Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, so Simmons will have a chance to slowly settle down and improve his game.
The biggest target for the 27-year-old will be to get his groove back and average double-digit points.
Outside of that, Simmons is expected to be the starting point guard for the Nets.
Keeping that in mind, he’ll be expected to be an elite playmaker for the Nets in the regular season and, hopefully, the playoffs.
