There were some Pistons fans who used Hill’s birthday as an opportunity to beg the team to bring back the vintage jersey he used to wear.

Hill really did do a whole lot when he played in the league.
He was the third overall pick in the 1994 draft and immediately found great success.
During his first year with the Pistons, he averaged 19.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5 assists and gained his first All-Star appearance.
In fact, he was an All-Star for the first four years of his career.
When he finally retired in 2013, Hill didn’t leave the world of basketball behind.
Today he works with Team USA and is in charge of assembling the very best team to represent America in the World Cup, Olympics, and beyond.
Hill remains a basketball icon and that’s part of the reason why people are celebrating him on his big day.
