That’s why they pursued one of the most gifted offensive players to ever live, making sure to lock in Kyrie Irving for years to come.
Irving’s footwork is a work of art, and the way he handles the basketball is simply mesmerizing.
So, those young hoopers in attendance at the Jr NBA camp in Abu Dhabi couldn’t have asked for a better mentor to teach them the fine art of the crossover (via NBA)

One could say a lot of things about Kyrie Irving’s off-court remarks, but there’s no way to take anything away from him as a basketball player.
He’s got amazing footwork and his layup package is perhaps the deepest in the league.
Of course, it takes more than just talent to succeed in this league, and the Mavericks learned that the hard way last season.
But they made some major moves to revamp their roster and add more grittiness and depth around their two superstars.
They might still be a couple of pieces away from being a legit NBA Championship contender, but the Mavericks are definitely going to be one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the league for as long as Kyrie and Doncic are together.
