The Boston Celtics are about to start their newest season, and many people are expecting great things from them.
One of the people who thinks 2023-24 will be great for the team is Paul Pierce, a Celtics legend and Hall of Famer.
Pierce showed up to work out with Jaylen Brown in the Celtics’ gym, according to a video released on Twitter.
In the video, Pierce and Brown are seen lifting weights and talking, presumably about the season ahead.

One must assume that Pierce was giving Brown some encouragement – as well as advice.
Pierce knows what it’s like to be at the center of a promising and powerful Celtics roster.
He was with the team from 1998 to 2013 and helped them secure their 17th NBA championship in 2008.
Throughout his career, he became an All-Star ten times, Finals MVP, and also earned his spot in the Hall of Fame and the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
He may have retired from the game back in 2017 but Pierce still pops up from time to time.
He made an appearance at the Celtics’ practice facility earlier this week and even spoke to the press about the team’s chances in the upcoming season.
Like many fans, Pierce believes that this could be a massive year for Boston.
He is especially excited by the addition of Jrue Holiday, who he thinks may be the missing piece they have needed.
This might not be the last time we see Pierce with his former team this season.
You can expect to spot him courtside during games and at the team’s headquarters again.
