The Dallas Mavericks took a long trip to Abu Dhabi this week to participate in preseason games and activities leading up to the NBA season.
Their journey to Abu Dhabi raised awareness of the game, gained the league new fans, and also gave some players a chance to have some fun.
At one point, Kyrie Irving was challenged to a friendly basketball competition by movie superstar Michael B. Jordan.
Irving accepted the challenge and the two players shot against each other as cheering fans watched on.
In the end, Jordan surprisingly beat Irving, who walked away with a smile on his face.

Irving looked very happy in Abu Dhabi along with the rest of his team.
They may have lost their first preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves but they were still having a great time.
Fans are excited to see Irving looking glad to be with the Mavericks.
There was a lot of speculation about how committed he would be to the team when he was traded last season.
No one can blame people for doubting him: he has had multiple instances in the past when he grew unhappy with his teams.
But so far, Irving is saying all the right things and seems very satisfied in Dallas.
He claims that he wants to turn the team into playoff contenders once again.
In his first few months with the Mavericks, he posted 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists – a very strong start for the eight-time All-Star.
During his competition, Irving appeared to be relaxed, healthy, and ready to play.
But hopefully, he will have better luck against his NBA competition than he did against his Hollywood friend.
