The Golden State Warriors have committed to their current core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green for the foreseeable future.

Despite having several young players soaring with potential, the Warriors have traded most of them away, with the exception of Jonathan Kuminga.

Kuminga has been waiting for his opportunity to crack the starting lineup of the Golden State Warriors.

The 21-year-old recently got his chance to showcase his talent, albeit during a preseason game vs. the Los Angeles Lakers.

After watching Kuminga’s game, the Washington Wizards star Kyle Kuzma shared his views on the Warriors’ young star via his official Twitter handle.

Looks like kuminga improved!!!

Kuminga has seemingly cracked the code, as he looked like an entirely different player vs. the Lakers.

He had 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Warriors in the 125-108 victory.

The most talked-about point with Kuminga’s performance was his 8 rebounds.

Pulling down rebounds consistently is an art and not many can perfect it.

For the Warriors, Kevon Looney is usually regarded as the best rebounder, but it feels like he may have Kuminga as his competitor soon enough.

Can Kuminga make the most out of this opportunity? Fans will get a concrete answer over the next few preseason games.
