The Minnesota Vikings have already had a tough start to the NFL season, but it could now be deemed a disaster.
On top of their 1-4 record, they’ve now lost star WR Justin Jefferson — arguably the best player in his position — for at least the next four games.
Jefferson reportedly suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and was placed on Injured Reserve (IR).
The Vikings will face the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers, and Atlanta Falcons up next without their best player.
Needless to say, the fans had plenty to say about this, with most of them predicting it’s the end of their season.

Kirk Cousins’ connection with Justin Jefferson had been the lone bright spot for Kevin O’Connell’s team this season.
A subpar defense, a non-existent running game, and countless turnovers and unforced errors have put the Vikings against the wall so often early in this campaign.
Despite staying close in most games, they could only beat the 0-4 (now 0-5) Carolina Panthers, and they should start making some decisions about their future.
Cousins’ contract will run out at the end of the season, and he’s not getting any younger.
He might not want to be a part of a rebuilding team, and the Vikings would likely have to spend more money than they’d want to in keeping him around.
Making the playoffs with Jefferson seemed like an uphill battle already, and it’s almost impossible without him, so this could be the beginning of the end of the Kirk Cousins era in the Twin Cities.
