Analyst Makes A Strong Statement On Jordan Love

After more than 35 years with either Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre starting under center, Jordan Love was given the opportunity to be the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers this season.

The Packers won two of their first three games with Love as their starter, and in those three matchups, the young quarterback threw for seven touchdowns and just one interception.

But in the last two weeks, Green Bay has lost both of their games, and Love has thrown just one touchdown while being intercepted five times.

FS1’s Craig Carton believes the Packers’ new starting quarterback is a big reason why the Packers have come up short in both of their last two games, and judging by the turnovers alone, he’s certainly not wrong.

“Jordan Love has not been the reason the Packers have been winning games. He has been the reason they’re losing.” Carton said.

For Packers fans, these struggles from their quarterback are not something that people are used to.

Green Bay was spoiled for multiple decades with Rodgers and Favre, and now they have to deal with Love learning on the job this season, even if it results in the team missing the playoffs.

If the Packers miss the postseason this year, it will be the first time since 2018 that they have failed to earn a spot in the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.

Green Bay appeared in the postseason 22 times with Favre or Rodgers as their starter, so fans are just used to watching the team play extra football each season.

The Packers currently have a 2-3 record, but they have plenty of time to turn things around.

Green Bay has a bye in Week 6, so they should use that time to focus on improving some of their biggest weaknesses.
