The Dallas Cowboys entered the season with high hopes and expectations.
Despite some doubts about Mike McCarthy’s decision-making and Dak Prescott’s play, they looked like a juggernaut in the first couple of games of the season.
A lot of that had to do with their defensive dominance, but it seems like all that has faded away over the past couple of weeks.
That’s why sports analyst — and well-known Cowboys fan — Skip Bayless took to Twitter to call out one of the team’s defensive anchors: Micah Parsons.
The controversial pundit claimed that he would start calling the Penn State product ‘Missing’ Parsons instead, referring to the seemingly-low impact he’s had on the team in recent games.
At this rate I’m going to have to start calling him Micah “Missing” Parsons.

Parsons’ ability to line up at linebacker or at the edge and rush the passer makes him a dynamic and somewhat unique defensive player, and he entered the year as the defenseman with the highest upside in the league, but he hasn’t shown that thus far.
Granted that it takes a team effort, and Dan Quinn has been unable to make sound adjustments, but Parsons hasn’t been as disruptive as he usually is.
Of course, we’re just five games into the season, and Parsons is already a proven commodity in this league despite his lack of experience.
But given all the talk he’s done since he started his podcast, it seems like he’s left something to be desired.
Bayless is poking the lion, and it’ll be up to him to show his teeth.
