The Milwaukee Bucks just made one of the most league-altering deals in recent NBA history.
Not only did they manage to land Damian Lillard, but they also sent Jrue Holiday to the Boston Celtics, two moves that could have a massive ripple effect around the league for years to come.
The Bucks had the best record in the league just last season and were already one of he teams to beat in the NBA, so to think that they got even better should be a scary thought for the rest of the league.
According to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, even Lillard has been in awe of what his new star teammate, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is able to do on the court.
Damian Lillard & Giannis Antetokounmpo haven’t played a game yet, but they’ve practiced together. And it’s left Lillard in disbelief at times.
“I’ve never played with nobody that’s capable of that.” – Lillard

Even though they haven’t played together yet, Lillard has been quite excited about the future after getting some practices in with the Greek Freak.
Truth be told, stopping this Bucks team on offense is going to be a bit of a nightmare.
Defenses won’t be able to collapse and clog the paint to prevent Giannis from getting to the rim, or they’ll risk leaving Lillard wide-open for a three-pointer.
They also have Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez, both of whom can score from all three levels, all while Bobby Portis keeps the foot on the gas with his never-ending sparks of energy off the bench.
The Eastern Conference will be tougher next season, but this Bucks team should like their chances in a seven-game series against anybody else.
