NBA legend Kevin Garnett is predicting big things for Jordan Poole of the Washington Wizards.
Speaking on Showtime Basketball, Garnett said that Poole’s upcoming season could be a lot like when James Harden left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Houston Rockets.
When he went to his new team, Harden started to play better, exert more authority, and enjoy himself more.
Garnett thinks that Poole will do the exact same thing now that he’s moved on from the Golden State Warriors to the Wizards.
In fact, Garnett believes Poole could be one of the top-five scorers in the league in 2023-24.
Is the league ready for the Jordan Poole show? @KevinGarnett5KG has high hopes for DC’s new face of the franchise to put up big numbers this season.

Garnett will be shocked if Poole doesn’t average at least 25 points a night and garner a couple of 60-point games.
He also said that the combination of Poole and Kyle Kuzma is “the new duo in the league.”
Poole has done a lot during his first four years in the NBA with the Warriors.
He has accumulated an average of 20.4 points and 4.5 assists a game.
He was also a fan favorite for Golden State and earned himself an NBA championship too.
But Garnett believes that Poole has felt held back, relegated to a permanent sixth-man position, and not able to really break free and let himself shine.
Now that he’s moved to the Wizards, he has a chance to take the lead and make the team his own.
Kuzma clearly had similar thoughts.
He too moved from another massive franchise – the Los Angeles Lakers – and has found a second life in DC.
Both Poole and Kuzma are two young players ready to show their true potential together.
