Anthony Richardson entered the NFL with mixed reviews.
Some analysts believed he would be a day-one, high-energy starter for the Indianapolis Colts, while others believed he would have a tough time.
While he is currently on IR, Richardson’s first few games showed some promise.
In a recent quote shared via FOX Sports NFL, Michael Vick gave his opinion on Richardson, and what he could look like moving forward.
Vick compared Richardson to Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray, and Cam Newton.

He also said that Richardson can be “a productive quarterback who can be a dual threat at all times and be a nightmare for defenses.”
Richardson’s play style resembles the new-age of NFL quarterback, a trend that is growing as time goes on.
Vick was one of the first dual-threat quarterbacks, demonstrating a new way to play the position.
He was able to get it done on the ground and through the air, giving defenses a tough time deciding how to cover him.
In Vick’s eyes, Richardson is, and will become a great version of that style of quarterback.
One of the biggest questions about Richardson heading into the NFL was his arm, and his ability to be accurate through the air.
While it has been a small sample size, in his few starts, Richardson shows that his arm is not a problem.
He routinely threw downfield to his receivers, begging defensive backs to test him.
By establishing the long ball, teams are forced to adjust, leaving players like Richardson to roam free with their rushing abilities.
