The Dallas Cowboys are still looking to clean up the debris that was left behind after they got completely destroyed by the San Francisco 49ers, 42-10, on Sunday evening.

It was the most humiliating defeat in recent Cowboys memory, especially for their quarterback, Dak Prescott, who may have had the worst game of his NFL career.

Another man who had a terrible outing was Pro Bowl wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who was limited to four catches and 49 yards by San Francisco’s savage defense.

Overall, Lamb has been solid so far this year with 358 yards and one touchdown, but a problem Dallas has is a lack of support for him — only one of their other wideouts, Michael Gallup, has more than 100 receiving yards this season.

The team had acquired Brandin Cooks during the offseason to take some pressure off Lamb, but he has just 73 yards on nine catches in four contests.

The Cowboys are likely a much better team than they seemed on Sunday, but if they are to have a real shot at their first Super Bowl championship since the 1995 season, they will have to get a lot of work done.

They have to find a way to successfully deal with the season-ending knee injury star cornerback Trevon Diggs recently suffered, among other things.

The squad will take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Southern California on Monday before they will have their bye week.
