Ja Morant consistently made headlines last season due to his gun-related controversies on social media.
As a result, the Memphis Grizzlies superstar will start the 2023-24 season with a 25-game suspension.
Morant will most likely miss the NBA All-Star team selection as well due to the suspension.
However, if Morant returns to the team with a fresh outlook on his life, it’d do wonders for the Grizzlies in the longer run, after all, he’s just 24 years old.
On the contrary, the two-time NBA All-Star recently shared an alarming tweet on his official Twitter handle regarding the lack of peace in his life.
it’s a different story for me , it seems i got everything dat i ever dreamed but i can’t find no peace

As the Grizzlies guard mentioned, he has accomplished many things at just 24 years old.
Morant makes nearly $40 million a year with his NBA salary alone, he’s one of the most popular athletes on the planet, and is in the perfect position to win an NBA Championship sooner rather than later.
But one thing that Morant doesn’t have is peace.
He became the target of many on social media because of his aforementioned controversies.
Hopefully, Morant can find peace in his life and focus his entire energy on playing basketball.
Last season, Morant averaged 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game for the Grizzlies last season.
Of course, Morant will hope for similar numbers in the 2023-24 season.
If he can lead the Grizzlies to 50+ wins and average more than 25.0 points per game next season, it will be considered a resounding success for Morant.
However, achieving these targets are easier said than done.
