The San Antonio Spurs were awarded the No.1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
The Spurs used the opportunity to draft French phenom Victor Wembanyama.
Wembanyama has yet to play his first official NBA game, but he has impressed fans with his performances during the preseason.
The 7’4″ star was at his best against the Miami Heat, recording 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich was asked to point out the flaws in Wembanyama’s game by a reporter via Legion Hoops on Twitter.
“I don’t talk bad about my players,” Popovich said.
Reporter: “We saw Victor Wembanyama do a lot of things in attack and defense. Where are his flaws?”
Popovich: “Where are what?”
Reporter: “The flaws in his game.”
Pop: “I don’t talk bad about my players.”

Popovich firmly denied the requests made by the reporter, as the legendary coach doesn’t want to speak poorly about his players.
Coach Popovich is regarded as one of the best coaches in NBA history for leading the Spurs to five titles in a stretch of 15 seasons.
But outside of his success on the court, the way that Popovich treats his players makes him one of the most beloved coaches in the NBA.
As for Wembanyama, the 19-year-old is just getting started, and he has already managed to grab the attention of fans with his skills.
In the preseason game against the Heat, Wembanyama showcased his deep bag of skills.
From dunking to handling the ball with ease, Wembanyama did everything for the Spurs.
If this is a trailer for how Wembanyama will play in his career, the fans are in for a treat.
For now, Wembanyama must focus on getting used to the level of physicality in the league.
In addition, ending the Spurs’ four-year playoff drought would be a cherry on top for Wembanyama’s rookie year in the NBA.
