The New England Patriots have been a synonym for success for the past two decades or so.

But all good things eventually come to an end, and the post-Tom Brady era has been quite underwhelming for the once-great franchise.

However, even though it has a current valuation of $7 billion and the team isn’t likely to get back to its winning ways any time soon, team owner Robert Kraft isn’t looking forward to selling the team.

According to The Score, Kraft recently stated that he’s never going to consider selling the team, and that’s the end of the story right there.

The Patriots are Kraft’s biggest pride, so this comes as no surprise.

The team has entered a rough patch since Brady left the premises, up to the point where people are once again wondering whether Bill Belichick was a byproduct of his quarterback’s greatness.

Belichick has a negative record sans Brady, and the team has yet to win a single playoff game since he left.

The Patriots are currently sitting on a 1-4 record and look far from a threat in their division.

Notably, Kraft has made it loud and clear that he has no intention whatsoever of holding onto Belichick just for the sake of it.

Regardless of everything the coach has done for the organization, he won’t hesitate to show him the door if the team doesn’t right the ship soon.

That’s the kind of winning culture and high standards Kraft wants the Patriots to abide by, and that’s not going to change in his lifetime.
