The Los Angeles Clippers once again have a phenomenal roster, at least on paper.

They finished as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record last season.

Ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season, the Clippers have made some key decisions regarding the team’s roster.

Among them is the decision to make Terance Mann untouchable in any future trade talks, as per Keith Pompey via NBACentral on Twitter.

The Clippers have been linked to the Philadelphia 76ers for a potential trade around James Harden.

In any trade where Harden moves to the Clippers, the organization would have most likely been required to include Terance Mann in the deal.

However, the Clippers apparently deem Mann to be extremely valuable and want to keep him on the roster around the core of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook.

Mann played 81 games for the Clippers last season, averaging 8.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game for the Clippers.

Despite Mann’s numbers not jumping out of the box score, the soon-to-be 27-year-old guard has become a key member of the team.

With the new season beginning soon, the Clippers’ decision to deem Mann as an untradeable asset may lead to the team not getting James Harden.

But is this the right decision?

After all, James Harden is a 10x NBA All-Star and led the league in assists last season.
