The Milwaukee Bucks just got a glimpse of how incredibly good and dominant they can be next season.
Damian Lillard made his preseason debut, and he seemed to love every single minute of it.
When asked about having the opportunity to play with someone like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lillard stated that he could dominate every single game, stating that he could ‘do this every night’ because he’s giving the ball to another dominant player every time he gets trapped (via Tomer Azarly).
Damian Lillard on playing with Giannis Antetokounmpo:
“He can dominate a game and win you a game… The first couple plays of the game, they trap me, and the guy that I’m releasing the ball to is Giannis. I’m thinking, ‘We can do this all night.’”

Other teams will now have to pick their poison when they go against the Bucks.
Double-teaming Lillard means there’s one fewer body in Giannis’ way to the rim, and that’s usually trouble for any defense.
But if they decided to take a different route and clog the paint or build a wall to prevent Giannis from getting to the rim, then they’re leaving one of the best shooters in the league wide open.
The Bucks’ defense will obviously take a dip with Jrue Holiday no longer on the team.
Giannis will also be tasked with defending the other team’s top scorer, which is something that didn’t happen all that often during Mike Budeholzer’s tenure in charge of the team.
There will be an adjustment period, but these two stars look like a seamless fit on and off the court.
It’s hard to think of two players whose games complement each other so nicely.
The Bucks will be must-watch television night in and night out, and Lillard might finally get a chance to win that ring.
