The 2028 Summer Olympics will take place in Los Angeles, and there will be a couple of new sports on the schedule, including flag football.
It will give NFL players an opportunity to compete against players from other countries while showing off their skills before a worldwide audience.
Micah Parsons, the star pass rusher for the Dallas Cowboys, says he will play on the Olympic team in 2028, and he says he wants to bring some other NFL stars with him, per Dov Kleiman.

Who do you think should be on the team?

In both of his first two seasons, Parsons made both the Pro Bowl and All-Pro First Team, and he seems to be a candidate for this season’s Defensive Player of the Year award.
Through six games, he has 5.0 sacks, 11 quarterback hits, and seven tackles for loss, and late in the fourth quarter of the Cowboys’ win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, he had a big sack on Justin Herbert to preserve a slim lead.
That win was very important, as the Cowboys were coming off a humiliating 42-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers the previous week, and while their victory over L.A. wasn’t very convincing, they did hold down a potent roster.
Herbert only completed 22 of 37 passes for 227 yards, while his team only mustered 53 rushing yards.
Meanwhile, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott, who played horribly in Week 5 versus San Francisco, went 21 of 30 for 272 yards and one touchdown pass.
Parsons and the Cowboys will have their bye this week, and they will host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8 before visiting the Philadelphia Eagles the following Sunday.
