The Boston Celtics have been extremely busy during the offseason.

After losing in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Celtics worked diligently to add more pieces to their roster.

Jrue Holiday has recently joined the team alongside big man Kristaps Porzingis.

Both players have gotten an opportunity to gel with their new teammates throughout training camp, gaining rapport before the season starts.

After seeing what their teammates can do, Porzingis recently praised one of the Celtics’ role players.

According to Jared Weiss, Porzingis shouted out Peyton Pritchard, calling him “underrated.”

Kristaps Porziņģis says he loves Payton Pritchard and thinks Pritchard is still underrated.

Pritchard was one of the Celtics’ main bench players last season, averaging 13.4 minutes per game, appearing in 48 contests.

He was primarily used as a three-point shooter, hitting shots at a 36.4% rate from behind the line.

If for nothing else, Pritchard will likely be utilized in a similar role this season, helping the Celtics’ starters get rest when necessary.

He seems to have impressed Porzingis thus far, an eight-year NBA veteran.

Pritchard might be an unsung hero for this team, but for Porzingis to call him out, indicates that he is working hard in practice.

The Celtics have just a few days to get everything in order, as their first game of the year is on October 25th.

They are slated to face off against the New York Knicks, one of the best teams in the East last season.

The Knicks will provide a great litmus test for the Celtics, a difficult matchup for the first game of the season.

Will the Celtics’ new additions help them come away with a victory on their opening night?
