On Tuesday night, the Boston Celtics faced off against the New York Knicks in their latest preseason game.

It was a chance for the Celtics to score another win and also give fans a taste of the new starting lineup.

That lineup featured Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis.

Following the game, Porzingis talked about what it’s like to play with those athletes.

“It’s just easy to play with those guys, honestly. I keep repeating myself but they draw so much attention,” Porzingis said, according to NBC Sports.

Porzingis stated that the other starters allow him to make space on the floor, set up clean shots, and then sink them.

Again and again, opponents are focused on Tatum and Brown while Porzingis gets ready to receive the ball and score.

Porzingis is making the Celtics more dangerous because he can be solid both offensively and defensively.

He is able to get down in the paint and grab a board but can also position himself at the perimeter and sink a clutch bucket.

In these few preseason games, fans have seen how versatile the big man is and just how helpful that can be for Boston in the upcoming season.

The Celtics moved past the Knicks, 123-110, on Tuesday night.

In many ways, it felt like a regular-season game for the team because it featured their biggest stars all starting together.

It also featured some important input from bench players like Sam Hauser, Payton Pritchard, and Al Horford.

The starting five obviously work well together and like playing alongside each other.

Now it is time to see if they can conquer the regular season.
