The Philadelphia Phillies continue to dominate in October.

The run they have been on so far in the playoffs has been legendary.

With a 7-1 record during the playoff run, the Phillies sit just two wins away from reaching the World Series.

It seems like every Phillies player is at the peak of their game right now.

In each postseason, one spot where you need to dominate is pitching.

The Phillies have done just that behind the arms of Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola.

Both starters were credited with the win in Games 1 and 2.

Nola stands out for his particular playoff dominance at home.

According to Jon Morosi, Nola has a 1.57 ERA in five career postseason starts at Citizens Bank Park.

Even after a struggle during the regular season, Nola has pitched his best in the playoffs.

This is a significant stretch for Nola as he is a free agent after the season.

We have seen in the past how a player performs in October correlates to how much they get paid.

Nola has been a workhorse for the Phillies for many seasons.

He has thrown 168+ innings every full season since 2017.

In a sport where players consistently get injured, Nola has always found a way to take the mound every five days.

The Phillies now head to Arizona with a 2-0 series lead hoping to take a commanding 3-0 lead.

With the way the Phillies have been swinging the bats, it seems like no pitching staff can slow them down.

All phases of the game seem to be clicking for the Phillies at the perfect time.
