Five years ago, one of the most infamous fights in recent NBA history took place.
The Houston Rockets visited the Los Angeles Lakers for a highly-anticipated matchup with a plethora of stars on the floor.
But it all took a big turn when Chris Paul took a huge punch from Rajon Rondo.
That’s why the fans took to Twitter to react to Ballislife’s commemorative post and reminisce about the fight.
Wow that was 5 yrs ago. Rondo’s level of disrespect is unmatched. Chris Paul’s reputation on the court isn’t great either.

Paul put his finger in Rondo’s face, and the two already had a history of not liking each other, so it wasn’t surprising to see the former Boston Celtics star swinging at CP3.
Rondo then defended himself by stating that Paul was a bad teammate and nobody liked him and urged the media to ask his former teammates to see if he was lying.
Brandon Ingram came out of the blue swinging punches without even saying a word, and LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony had to separate the two.
Paul and Rondo both developed a bit of a reputation in the league.
The former for being dirty and always getting away with it, and the latter for not taking anything from anybody.
At the end of the day, both will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, but even though they have some iconic plays to remember, thousands of fans will only think about this.
