The Oklahoma City Thunder have the potential to be a dark-horse candidate for a deep playoff run in the 2023-24 season.
A key reason behind the Thunder finally making a deep postseason run is the return of Chet Holmgren.
Holmgren missed his entire rookie season due to a right foot injury.
The 7-foot forward is expected to be a top candidate to take home the NBA Rookie of the Year award as well.
But one thing that the Thunder fanbase has fallen in love with is his friendship with Josh Giddey, and the former second overall pick reacted via his official Twitter handle to a fan’s tweet signifying the same.

The original tweet showed a few pictures of Holmgren and Giddey hanging out together.
Be it on or off the court, the duo seems inseparable.
Holmgren even called Giddey his twin in the above tweet.
Giddey had a solid 2022-23 season, averaging 16.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game for the Thunder.
He’s expected to have a breakout year with the Thunder, and with Holmgren returning, the organization may aim to clinch a playoff berth.
In addition to the dynamic duo, the Thunder also have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the roster.
The Canadian guard earned his first NBA All-Star appearance last season and is expected to only get better as a player and a leader for the Thunder.
Considering the Thunder’s talented core, they could earn a high seed in the Western Conference as soon as the 2023-24 NBA season.
