The Golden State Warriors won the 2022 NBA Championship behind the heroics of Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Jordan Poole, among others.
But just a year later, the Warriors were eliminated in the 2023 Western Conference semifinals.
It led to many believing that the Warriors’ days of dominating the league are finally over as the organization was eliminated from the playoffs before the NBA Finals for the first time under Steve Kerr’s coaching.
Keeping that in mind, not many believe that the Warriors are among the favorites to win the 2024 NBA title.
However, former Warriors star Andre Iguodala disagrees with such claims, via “First Take” on Twitter, mentioning that the Warriors have a chance to win the title as long as they have Curry on the roster.
“When you got Steph Curry on your team, you always have a chance” Iguodala said.

Iguodala won titles playing alongside Curry.
It’s obvious that Iguodala holds Curry to a high standard.
As for Curry, he averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game for the Warriors last season.
Sure, he’s 35 years old entering this season, but he is still a sensational player and hasn’t shown many signs of decline.
Curry looked in fine touch as he recently nailed a game-winner against the Sacramento Kings during a preseason game.
If Curry manages to stay healthy throughout the season, the Warriors will have a chance to clinch a high seed in the Western Conference.
Last season, the Warriors dealt with chemistry issues and only finished as the sixth seed in the West with a 44-38 record.
