The Arizona Diamondbacks pulled off an impressive win on Friday night and Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker was very excited about it.
Following the 6-5 win for the Diamondbacks, Booker was on Twitter showing his support: “That s*** was lit,” he said.
This isn’t the first, nor the last, time that Booker rooted for the Arizona team and it’s something that reassures fans.
That sh*t was lit @Dbacks

Even though his main focus is obviously the NBA, Booker is a big fan of all sports.
And he is also seemingly a big fan of the state of Arizona.
Originally hailing from Michigan, Arizona is not Booker’s home state but it’s the only location he’s lived at during his 8 years in the NBA.
He was drafted by the Suns back in 2015 as the 13th overall pick and immediately became an important part of the franchise.
In his first season, he averaged more than 13 points a game and took that number up to 22 in his second year.
Since then, he has only gotten better and averaged 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in 2022-23.
Because of all his talent, fans sometimes grew nervous that perhaps he’d set his sights on another team.
But he has remained with the Suns through thick and thin.
In fact, he is the only remaining member who reached the Finals back in 2021.
The Suns have definitely become Booker’s team and he’s comfortable with that, and also a big admirer of the state he lives in.
If the Diamondbacks are able to win this series, it’ll be a perfect thing for Booker to celebrate right before his season starts in a few days.
He won’t be able to watch a whole lot of baseball soon so he is enjoying every second of it.
