The Texas Rangers did it: they managed to beat the Houston Astros in Games 6 and 7 to win the American League pennant and advance to the World Series.
It’s the first time the Rangers will go to the Fall Classic since they made it in consecutive years in 2010 and 2011, losing both.
The franchise will be looking for its first World Series trophy.
As of Tuesday afternoon, they were waiting for the National League representative in the Fall Classic, as the Philadelphia Phillies and the Arizona Diamondbacks have a pending Game 7 in the evening.
On Monday, Adolis Garcia and the Rangers proved to be too much for the Astros, and won in dominant fashion, 11-4.
The game was played at Minute Maid Park, in Houston.
In Arlington, however, Rangers fans gathered to watch their team advance to the World Series.
You can imagine they lost their mind with every home run, every RBI hit, and of course with the final out.

The series was very peculiar: the Astros held home-field advantage, but it didn’t matter: the away team always won.
That’s right: Houston lost the first two games at Minute Maid Park, then won the next three at Globe Life Field.
With the series in their favor, 3-2, the Astros proceeded to lose two straight at home to seal their fate.
Rangers fans have gone through a lot in the team’s history.
Not only have they never won a Fall Classic, but they were awful from 2017 to 2022.
This year, however, they managed to put it all together and will fight, once again, for the right to be called champions.
