Most NFL teams will agree that their ultimate goal is to win the Super Bowl.

However, Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson knows that’s not an easy task, and sometimes, you need to take baby steps to achieve a bigger goal.

That was his mindset when asked about the team’s main goal right now, stating that all they want to do is to find some consistency (via Jeff Zrebiec).

The Ravens are fresh off one of the best games in recent franchise history, and perhaps even the best game Jackson has played in his career.

But as impressive as they looked on Sunday against a legitimate Super Bowl contender like the Detroit Lions, they’ve also struggled to be at their best against some lesser teams.

The Ravens entered the season as one of the clear-cut candidates to come out of the AFC, and Sunday’s win proved just why.

They have one of the best and most underrated defensive units in the league, they don’t usually make mistakes on special teams and have the best kicker in the game, and their new-look offense is stacked.

Even so, that aspect of the game has struggled with ups and downs through the first seven weeks of the season.

Injuries, drops, and some tough luck have hampered their ability to march up and down the field, with rookie WR Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews as the only consistent contributors to Jackson’s passing game.

This team could be very dangerous if they find their groove, and facing the sluggish Arizona Cardinals could do wonders for them in that regard.
