The Philadelphia 76ers began their 2023-24 campaign without finding a concrete solution for the lingering James Harden problem.
Harden requested a trade from the 76ers earlier this summer and wants to be shipped to the Los Angeles Clippers.
But the way that Harden has behaved throughout his trade request has destroyed his relationship with the 76ers.
NBA analyst Rachel Nichols spoke about Harden’s absence via her official Twitter handle.

The game was close until the last second as the Milwaukee Bucks registered a 118-117 win over the 76ers.
Damian Lillard caught fire for the Bucks as he dropped 39 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.
While Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey combined for 55 points, they were overpowered by the Bucks.
But as per Nichols, if the 76ers had Harden on the roster, things could have gone differently for the team.
Nichols believes the 76ers missed Harden’s playmaking skills on the floor.
After all, Harden averaged 10.7 assists per game last season, making him the league leader in dishes.
Moreover, Harden averaged 21 points per game for the team as well.
Keeping these two key aspects missing, it wasn’t a surprise that the 76ers had no answer for the Bucks.
The 76ers will hope to either convince Harden to stay and actually play games or simply trade him for the best offer they can get for the former NBA MVP.
