The San Francisco 49ers have lost their last three games, a significant fall from grace after winning their first five.
All teams go through a set of rough patches at times, but the general mood around the 49ers has shifted.
Joy Taylor recently discussed the current state of the 49ers on “Speak,” saying, “You got problems, you’re losing in all different types of ways.”

Amid their three-game losing streak, as Taylor mentions, the 49ers have lost in two different ways.
They lost two close games to the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings, games they were expected to win handily.
Then, in Week 8, the 49ers lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in blowout fashion, something this 49ers team has not often experienced.
If the 49ers do not act quickly, this downward trend could continue, especially against their upcoming opponents.
One of the aspects of the 49ers game that is currently a problem according to Taylor, is Brock Purdy’s recent bought of turnovers.
As she mentions, when the 49ers were undefeated, Purdy was playing mostly mistake-free football.
This allowed the offense to keep flowing nicely, and for the defense to not feel as much pressure to perform.
However, Purdy has developed a turnover problem over the past three weeks, throwing five interceptions during that span.
Taylor believes that Purdy’s youth has been on full display lately, showing for the first time that he is a young quarterback with limited experience.
If the 49ers are unable to turn things around soon, more questions will be asked of Purdy and his role in this offense.
