Over the last few years, James Harden has built a reputation for leaving teams sooner rather than later.

The former NBA MVP did so once again as he forced his way out of the Philadelphia 76ers even before completing two seasons with the team.

In classic Harden fashion, he managed to get his wish for a trade request, and the 76ers recently sent their star guard to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Adding Harden has made the Clippers one of the favorites to win the 2024 NBA Championship, but NBA analyst Skip Bayless expressed a huge concern about Harden, via “Undisputed” on Twitter.

“I do not doubt that at some point very soon he will quit his way out of his home town,” Bayless predicts.

Harden was born in Los Angeles, so many believe this time around, the 34-year-old won’t quit on his team.

But Bayless has no trust in Harden and believes that the former 76ers guard will leave his hometown as well.

To be honest, Bayless cannot be blamed for being skeptical of Harden’s intentions to stay with the Clippers for a long period of time.

After all, since 2020, Harden has forced his way out of the Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, and 76ers.

Sure, Harden is still a solid player and averaged 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game for the 76ers last season.

But fans should expect Harden’s numbers to take a dip as he will be sharing the court with Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard.

The Big 4 of the Clippers surely aspire to achieve great things in the 2023-24 season, but the true test of their success depends on whether or not Harden can actually manage to stay loyal to the team.
