The Phoenix Suns recently matched up against the San Antonio Spurs on Halloween.
Despite the Suns being considered the favorites to win the NBA Championship this season, they are currently playing without two superstars in Bradley Beal and Devin Booker.
Keeping that in mind, the Suns, led by Kevin Durant, barely lost against the Spurs, as the latter won the game with a score of 115-114.
It was an epic duel between Durant and Victor Wembanyama, and fans weren’t disappointed.
After the game, Durant shared his views on matching up against Wembanyama for the first time in the league, via the NBA’s official Twitter handle.
“He’s a unique player who is going to be a force in this league for a long time,” Durant said.

Speaking of the game, Durant had 26 points, 2 rebounds, and 7 assists in 37 minutes of playing time.
On the other hand, Wembanyama recorded 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist in 28 minutes.
While the entire world had eyes on Wembanyama to have an unforgettable first game against Durant, it was Keldon Johnson who stole the show.
Johnson had 27 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists in 33 minutes as he scored the most in the matchup.
It was a memorable game, as neither side gave up until the very end.
Wembanyama’s side may have emerged victorious in their first matchup against Durant and the Suns, but fans shouldn’t expect the same result every time.
After all, the Suns played without Booker and Beal.
Had the dynamic duo been healthy to compete, the end result would have most certainly gone in favor of the Suns.
