Michael Irvin Calls Out 1 Massive Chiefs Mistake

The Kansas City Chiefs made a tough call when they shockingly traded Tyreek Hill.

Most of the league was in disbelief of the fact that they were willing to trade arguably the best wide receiver in the game.

And while analysts thought his production would take a major dip after going from Patrick Mahomes to Tua Tagovailoa, it was actually quite the opposite.

With that in mind, NFL legend Michael Irvin is still convinced that, even though the Chiefs still managed to win the Super Bowl without him, trading him was a mistake.

In the latest edition of “Undisputed,” Irvin argued that every single thing they could accomplish sans Hill, they could do double of that with him.

He stated that the only reason they won the Super Bowl last season was because of their quarterback, but he thinks Mahomes can only do so much heavy lifting now.

Did KC make a mistake trading Tyreek Hill?

He states that this team has a lot of drops and issues on the offensive side of the field, not to mention an evident lack of talent.

That’s why he doesn’t see Mahomes being able to carry the load for much longer.

Irvin stated that the Chiefs could’ve had one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time paired with the greatest deep threat ever and one of the greatest intermediate route-runners in the game, all while being coached by one of the greatest play-callers of all time.

It’s hard to argue with that statement, especially considering how much they’ve struggled offensively this season, all while Hill is well on pace to hit 2,000 receiving yards.
