Wembanyama has a towering 7’4″ stature that helps him easily score against even the best defenders in the NBA.
A perfect example of it was seeing Wembanyama’s epic performances against the Phoenix Suns in back-to-back games.
As for his numbers for the season, Wembanyama is averaging 20.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
Thanks to Wembanyama’s contributions, the Spurs currently have a 3-2 record as they are the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
A few fans who had doubts about Wembanyama’s talents are slowly but surely coming around and getting sold on the 19-year-old.
It’s simply too difficult to guard the towering forward, who shoots the ball with an extremely high arc.
There is no doubt that it will take some time for players to get used to playing against Wembanyama and ultimately figure out a strategy to properly guard the Spurs rookie.
But until then, Wembanyama may continue to wreak havoc against his opponents.
