The Golden State Warriors have remained one of the best teams in the world over the last decade or so.
The rise of Stephen Curry is a crucial reason behind the Warriors’ success in the NBA.
Steph has impacted the careers of many young players, and Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren is apparently among them.
After playing against Stephen Curry for the first time in his career, Holmgren labeled it as a “full circle” moment for him via NBA on ESPN on Twitter.
“Going to [Steph’s] camp … now being in the league with him … that’s what it’s all about,” Holmgren said.

Many young athletes around the globe aspire to play against their idols, but not many get a chance to actually fulfill that dream.
However, Chet Holmgren achieved that dream following the Oklahoma City Thunder’s recent matchup against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA In-Season Tournament.
Holmgren put on a show as he recorded 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists against the Warriors.
On the other hand, Stephen Curry didn’t just sit around as he added 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists to the 141-139 win against the Thunder.
After the game, Curry and Holmgren acknowledged each other’s talent by swapping their jerseys.
It was a great moment for fans as they somewhat saw the passing of the torch from Curry to Holmgren.
If all goes well, Holmgren has the potential to one day become one of the top stars in the league.
But for starters, Holmgren’s goal should be to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder back into the playoffs for the first time since the 2019-20 NBA season, where they were eliminated in the First Round of the playoffs.
