Sunday Night Football featured two of the best teams in the AFC as the Buffalo Bills took on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9.
The Bills have been in a bit of a slump the past month as they’ve struggled to find some rhythm on both sides of the field, and the Bengals took full advantage by playing smart football throughout the evening.
Cincinnati wound up picking up the win over Buffalo and extended their winning streak to four games to improve their record to 5-3.
The Bengals started off the 2023 NFL season incredibly slow as Joe Burrow worked his way back from a calf injury, but with him fully healthy the team finally looks like the contender most expected them to be.
With Cincinnati starting to find their groove, they could be the most dangerous team come playoff time.
In fact, Trent Green had no problem declaring the Bengals as the biggest threat to dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs via CBS.

Burrow and Cincinnati have met Kansas City in the postseason twice now, with each of them owning a 1-1 record against the other.
The Patrick Mahomes-Burrow rivalry always produces fireworks, and at this point it seems like the star quarterbacks are on a collision course with each other.
There’s still plenty of the regular season left to go, so another team in the AFC could butt into the conversation.
However, the league and its fans surely have to be hoping that come playoff time they get a third matchup between the Bengals and Chiefs.
