The Los Angeles Clippers just got a glimpse of what life with James Harden could look like.
Granted that the outcome wasn’t ideal, but they still could see some interesting things with him and their other stars on the floor.
Despite the loss, former NFL star Richard Sherman believes that Harden actually had a pretty solid outing, and he believes he’s going to be very good for Tyronn Lue’s team.
In the latest edition of Undisputed, the former Super Bowl champion talked about how Harden’s passing is going to improve the Clippers’ offense, as it’ll allow Russell Westbrook to be in the corner where he’s more effective, and it’ll give the rest of the players — especially Ivica Zubac — plenty of easy buckets.
“Harden is still a great basketball player. He’s going to be a guy that can help this team offensively.”

Harden has always excelled in the pick and roll, and he did have some beautiful passes to Zubac in his first game of the season, so he’s going to be one of their unlikely beneficiates early on.
Of course, everything takes time, and we cannot expect the Clippers to just dominate overnight with guys who have barely played together.
Harden knows Westbrook pretty well, but they need to get through some games and practices before being at their best.
Some believe that Westbrook could be better off coming off the bench and leading the second unit while Harden takes his place alongside Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
For now, Tyronn Lue claimed that he’s going to roll with the same starting lineup for at least a couple of weeks before making any changes.
