Ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center earlier this week, superstar forward LeBron James talked about his stint with the storied franchise that he helped to reach the NBA Finals and win two titles while playing alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

James claimed that even if he didn’t go through the Heat experience, he’d still be the same player with the same legacy today, which rubbed some people the wrong way, considering he won half his titles in Miami.

It seemed as though James was dismissing what was accomplished in Miami or acting like it didn’t mean much to his legacy, which isn’t the case, according to Joy Taylor of FOX Sports, who argued on “Speak” that he wouldn’t be in the all-time great discussion with Michael Jordan.

This is the kind of argument where fans of James and those who aren’t quite fond of him battle it out with no one coming to a conclusion, which is usually what happens with the four-time NBA champion in every debate he’s involved in.

The fact is a lot of people would look at his legacy that much differently had he not won those two titles with the Heat, and the same goes for every great player who has won multiple titles in the same situation or debate.

However, the debate rages on for James, even if he says some questionable things here and there, as he has undoubtedly done some remarkable things in his two decades in the league.
