The Denver Nuggets, haven’t missed a beat in their season defending their crown.

Even with Jamal Murray out with a hamstring injury, Mike Malone’s team has been able to weather the storm, even getting a big win over the Golden State Warriors.

Needless to say, while that has mostly been a team effort, most of the credit should go to Nikola Jokic.

The reigning Finals MVP has done everything on both ends of the court, uplifting his team with his elite playmaking, scoring, and dominating both ends of the glass.

That’s why Reggie Jackson had no choice but to tip his hat to his stellar teammate, jokingly stating that he even makes him look like he knows what he’s doing out there (Via Harrison Wind).

Jackson slid to the starting lineup while Murray recovers from that hamstring injury, and he was quite solid in his latest spot start.

The former Oklahoma City Thunder PG finished the night with 20 points, two rebounds, and six assists, adding three three-pointers.

As for Jokic, he was as dominant as usual with 35 points, 13 rebounds, five dimes, three steals, one block, and one triple on 56% from the floor.

Jokic’s impact goes beyond the stat sheet, as his sole presence there allows the Nuggets to run so many different sets.

He draws too much defensive attention as the ultimate triple-threat kind of guy, granted that he can drive, kick, or pull up at will.

One day, maybe someone will find a counter for Nikola Jokic, but today’s not that day.
