James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers returned to Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday night and it didn’t go very well.
His Clippers were beaten by the Brooklyn Nets, 100-93.
That means that the first two games with his new team have been losses but Harden isn’t sweating it too much.
According to Joey Linn, he’s optimistic about his position within the team and what will come in the future.
“It’s okay. Two games. I’ll figure it out,” Harden said.
He went on:
“I just want to win. It doesn’t matter about points or stats. I just want to win games. As long as we can figure it out to where we’re all competing, playing at the highest level, and winning games, that’s all that matters.”

After months of rumors, speculation, and many negative headlines, Harden is finally playing for the Clippers.
But his tenure with the team hasn’t gotten off to an amazing start.
During his first game with LA, he scored 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists in a loss to the New York Knicks.
On Wednesday, he scored 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists as the Clippers went down to his former team, the Nets.
Brooklyn fans attending that game let Harden hear it and he was subjected to a rather unfriendly welcome.
That wasn’t the reason for LA’s loss but it was just another challenging part of their difficult evening.
Harden says that he simply wants to win games, which is true for everyone on the Clippers.
But so far, his addition hasn’t led to any wins so head coach Ty Lue is going to have to figure out what is stopping his team.
The good news for Clippers fans is that this is still the start of the season, which means they have plenty of time to get it together.
Things won’t get any easier for them on Friday as they face off against the strong Dallas Mavericks.
When will Harden experience his first win with the Clippers?
