The Golden State Warriors are currently in a slump after suffering a crucial loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Following the 110-118 defeat against the Cavaliers, the Warriors are now 6-4 to start the season.
A key reason behind the Warriors’ defeat was the ejection of Draymond Green from the game.
It was a unique ejection as Green only received his second technical foul after Donovan Mitchell forced the refs to review a play from earlier in the game.
Similar to many fans, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was also puzzled by the decision, as revealed via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.
“I had never heard of this rule,” Kerr said.

Steve Kerr went as far as saying that he was unaware of the existence of this rule in the NBA.
Before getting ejected from the game, Green played just 18 minutes against the Cavaliers.
During those minutes, Draymond Green put up 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
For the season, Draymond Green is averaging 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game for the Warriors.
Considering the Warriors are currently struggling to win games over the last few weeks, the team undoubtedly needs great leadership from Draymond Green.
Sure, the Golden State Warriors are still 6-4 in the season, but they’re no longer playing like a Western Conference contender.
All things considered, head coach Steve Kerr needs to make a few changes to his strategy to get the team back into rhythm.
After all, it was the first time since the 2009-10 season that the Cleveland Cavaliers completed a season sweep against the Golden State Warriors.
