Some NBA teams do whatever is necessary to get publicity year in and year out.
Even if it does not result in wins, making big moves excites the fans.
One team that made a blockbuster trade earlier in the season is the Los Angeles Clippers.
They acquired former MVP James Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers.
So far, the returns on that deal are not looking good.
The Clippers have gone 0-4 since acquiring Harden and the fit doesn’t seem right.
LA now has four starters in their lineup that all want the ball.
Harden is joined by Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George.
Current Philadelphia 76er Patrick Beverley thinks it will take the Clippers time to get everything sorted out.
According to ClutchPoints, Beverley thinks the Clippers will be an “awful regular season team.”
But he does believe that they will be a dangerous playoff team.
“They’re going to be an awful regular season team, they going to be a dangerous playoff team… They ain’t spent a lot of time with each other.”

It takes a lot of time to build chemistry in the NBA.
Outside of George and Leonard, none of these players have been together for more than a year.
Beverley has spent time on many teams and he understands what it takes to build chemistry.
It will be interesting to see what the Clippers look like in a few months.
They did not bring on Harden to miss the playoffs.
It is up to the players to make sure this season is a successful one.
