It sounds like Team USA will be filled with some of the most prominent names in the NBA when the Olympics roll around next summer.
Now it’s just a question of who will and won’t make the cut.
According to Mark Medina, via NBACentral, Jaren Jackson Jr. of the Memphis Grizzlies is still very intent on playing for his national team.
Medina reported that Jackson is “for sure” interested in joining Team USA again.

Jackson is currently producing an average of 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 rebounds.
He is also a two-time blocking champion, one-time All-Star, and the 2022-23 Defensive Player of the Year and would obviously bring a ton of offensive and defensive talent to the team.
He played for Team USA in the recent World Cup and averaged 8.1 points and 2.9 rebounds.
Since he was in the lineup before, one would assume that he’d get an automatic invite for next summer’s games.
However, all reports say that Team USA will have no shortage of players to choose from with the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Stephen Curry, and others intrigued about joining the crew.
Even with all his talent and accolades, Jackson might not be able to make the cut.
Team USA fell short of its goals in the recent World Cup and the plan is to do whatever it takes to make sure the 2024 Olympics are a huge success.
Some of the biggest names in the league will be throwing their hats into the ring and we could see the best, most accomplished, and strongest Team USA in history.
Will Jackson be on the roster?
