It’s always special to get the input of NBA legend Isiah Thomas.
Thomas spent his years playing for the Detroit Pistons but he’s a Chicago, Illinois native.
Therefore, he really cares about the Chicago Bulls and is always rooting them on.
Joshua M. Hicks caught up with Thomas recently and asked him about the state of the team.
Thomas had a lot of praise for Bulls newcomer Jevon Carter, comparing him to both Patrick Beverley and Tony Allen because of his style of defense.
He said that Carter is the sort of player who can slow down just about any opponent and then, most importantly, subsequently score on them.

Carter has only been with the Bulls since the start of the season.
During his ten games with the Bulls, he has averaged 7.3 points and 1.2 assists off the bench.
This is pretty close to the numbers he was producing last season when he was still with the Milwaukee Bucks, but Carter still has room to grow.
The future of the Bulls might allow him plenty of growth.
The team currently has a 4-6 record and has again shown that they are trying to find a good lineup and reliable rotation that works.
There are a lot of rumors floating around about the team, with some people expecting the Bulls to be blown up and rebuilt soon if things don’t smooth out.
If that happens, Carter could find himself with a lot more responsibility, as other players could be traded away.
That means that he could soon be a starter for the team.
Carter is one of the few players on the roster ready to show what he’s capable of.
Depending on the rest of the season, he could get a lot of time to impress.
